The Miracle of Friendship

To all my dear 5 Melati students, I am posting this video so that you can always view and remember how beautiful the friendship that we share with each other. You are the best students I have ever known and please treasure your friends and love them dearly. Stop fighting among one another in or outside class because you might lose your friend. A good friend is hard to find, so when you have one, hold them close to your heart.

Hey There Awesome Students =)

First of all, I want to say thanks to each and everyone of you for making today's lesson a very fun and interesting one! All of you have took part in every activity and from your guided essays that I've checked, many of you have shown a lot of improvement in your writing skill. Good job dear students! Miss Hana is so so proud of you.

As for the winner of the best guided essay (What We Want to be When We Grow Up), please wait patiently as I will announce the winner in class when every paper has been marked. Let's see whether we will get a new winner or the same lucky winner (Mitchel).

Also, to Syed Aiman, you have done a very good job as you have played the guitar very well just now and you were braved enough to show your talent to everyone. I hope one day your dream of becoming a professional guitarist will come true. I also pray for other students' success. Please don't forget me when all of you have became successful doctors, fashion designers, pilots, engineers or many more in future. Remember that I am and always be very proud of you.

Here are some pictures of everyone in class just now. The Hey There Delilah video will be uploaded soon. Hey, we were quite good at singing just now except that the noises from the other classes made the sound quality in the video quite poor. I am so sorry for that. As for now, enjoy the pictures!

The Writing Challenge

On last Wednesday, I have conducted an essay writing challenge where everyone in 5 Melati had to write an essay about their favourite singer or band. You also had to put as many adjectives as possible to describe your favourite idols. Did you enjoy yourselves that day? I hope the songs I have played while you were writing the essay did not distract your concentration or else next time we could not play anymore songs. : p

As we know, the winner had already been announced in class last Thursday. The winner had written a simple essay but with good sentence construction and minimal grammar mistakes as well as appropriate usage of adjectives in the essay. Congratulations to our lucky winner:

Not only that Mitchel has produced good essay, he also has a very nice and tidy handwriting. The other students with very nice handwriting are Marsya and Sohmalar. Enough about that, so here is Mitchel's essay. Feel free to read everyone. To Mitchel, keep up the good work. To the others, you are also good but need to be better!

MY FAVOURITE SINGER

Akon is my favourite singer of all the singers in the world. He is very popular among the Americans. Akon's claim to fame was from the song "Oh Africa". The song "Oh Africa" is in Pepsi's advertisement starring famous football players like Lionel Messi, Thiery Henry, Didier Drogba and Kaka. He has a beautiful and loud voice that brings out his inner soul. He looks cool and stunning that makes girls go crazy. He has a fantastic tone of voice. You can hear it when he sings different types of songs. I wish that one day I can sing like him.

Remember when we made our own "Happy Face Sandwich"?
